  • Saying hi from Europe

We had a great time in London but the weather was not the best cold and rain all week. We are now in paris for a week and then off to Brussels and then Amsterdam-
I have not had internet and am only getting online now for the first time in 8 days. If you used Contact us and I have not replied that is the reason and I will get to it when I get back in 2 weeks.

Hi Frank. I just got back from Italy, Germany, England, Scotland, Ireland and Canada courtesy of Busch Gardens, Williamsburg! Not quite the same as your trip but it's as close as I'm going to get to Europe for a while. The kids sure liked it, though. Well, enjoy your vacation. I'll be looking forward to some pictures when you return.

Craig...do they still have that leprechaun ride in Ireland? I'll bet Frank didn't get to see any on his trip....

Glad you're having a good time Frank!

            Frank,

Enjoy the remainder of your trip! I hope the weather is better for you in Paris. It was gorgeous when we were there.

            Craig,

Wow, sounds like a wonderful trip! I'm glad that your family had a great time!

We saw some Irish step dancers (straight from Ireland we were told) and there was some sort of 4D ride called the Corkscrew I think, but we didn't go on it. Never did see any leprechauns either

We had a really good time at Octoberfest. They sing and dance and play all those brass instruments while you get to hang out and eat and drink. They even brought my son up on stage for some of that "German dancing" because he was celebrating his 10th birthday.

Defintely a good alternative if you can't make it all the way across the pond.

What a pity that the weather wasn't nice in London bigfrank. I hope it will improve for you. Is your timeshare for a whole week in Paris? That gives you time to do a lot of sightseeing there.

Enjoy your trip to Brussels and Amsterdam too. Angela is right that it would be nice to have a quick look at Bruges too but it may not be so easy when you travel by train.

Enjoy Paris, sorry for the bad weather in London. That is another dream trip for me.

The last time I was at Busch Gardens, they tried to pull up Kelli on the stage but she refused so I did it!! I had just learned to polka that very year by an 85 yr old man at the Octoberfest in Helen. Thanks to him I didin't make to big of a fool of myself. shaggy

We are Home and out of it. My wife said that she loved Brugge the best but that was only 1 day plus Brussels 2 days, London was her favorite week but most expensive, Can you belive after the excvhange rate I spent $22 for 2 cups of Expresso , London was Super clean and there train system the best we have ever seen. Paris was a bit dirty, Amsterdam was fun and it had some great points along with the bad.
