I didn't think you were ever coming back. The stock portfolio should be a pleasant surprise - if you haven't been looking.

                Welcome back!!!

Can't wait to hear all about your trip, and I'm really looking forward to your pics!

The exchange rate was a nightmare, and yes, I can believe the $22 for the expresso.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

Well I was just about to upload a video of the room in London to our You Tube Account and it looks like it was accidentally deleted from the camera, Reason to go back

I am a new member from the UK along with my fellow newbie hercules24 we have both travelled extensively in the UK and Europe, if I can be of any help with advice or first-hand knowledge please don't be afraid to ask if I can't answer I will do my best to contact someone who can. It's all about sharing knowledge and advice to improve that most important thing in life....vacations or holidays as we say this side of the pond!
Life may not be the party we hoped it would be, but while we are here we might as well dance......

                      Agree with Bulldog

We are here to help one another get the most from vacations, what do they say information is power and planning a holiday usually helps you make the most of it.

I have holidayed in the US and have visited Florida, Memphis (love Elvis), Nashville, Las vegas, San Fransisco, La, San Diego (only a short stop of 2 days (I really must return), Sedona (how wonderful Oak ridge canyon is), Grand Canyon (best natural wonder I have ever seen) and next year it is the Big Apple and an onward 10 day carribean cruise (have a tip book on places to visit in NYC - we are staying there for 4 days.

So anyone who wants any help on England vacations I may be able to offer some great tips and advice which should save you money as obviously we know what tourists traps to avoid over here. I can't promise steaks and sea food at the price of what it is over there though - seafood in san Francisco wow (especially that Clam chowder)

I too have visited the US on 4 occasions travelling through AZ,NM,NV,CA,CO,WY,UT,SD,IOWA,IL,Missouri,KS,OK,TX, AR,MS,AL,TN,KT,,GA....hope I didn't miss any out,we loved every second of our time there and will be back the year after next. We spent a whole month with good friends in Spicewood Texas the home of Willie Nelson, who we met on several occasions along with his 2 sons and his sister Bobbie. I was also fortunate enough to play a round of golf on Willie's course at Pedernales with the great Freddy Powers composer of some of the best country songs ever.
But that's enough of my good fortune....as hercules says just give either of us a call and we will do our best to help.
