Today's woot includes an anniversary promotion. The woot item is a set of the flashing amber Woot-off lights. As an anniversary promotion an unspecified number of buyers will get a BOC as well.

I submitted my order. I figured my odds of getting a BOC were better this way than they ever would be of getting one in a woot-off.

IF (that is a big if) I understood the rules for the Bag of Carp award, I didn't win, or maybe I did. I believe it had to do with your last digit of your order number and the last digit of the DOW at the close today. I guess it will depend on the rounding of the number. Then again, I could have read the whole thing wrong.

Dow closed at 8331.68, so it looks to me as if the lucky number is "1".
