Well since People doesn't appreciate the amusing stuff I post in G&A Cafe I guess I'll have to get wet in the Hot Tub.

So, last night I was shopping for furniture for my latest Timeshare adventure and had found what I thought was a great price online for a couple bedroom sets, yes, it's a 2BR/2BA like most TS4Mers and TUGgers like to have.

I went searching for coupon codes for the site like many of us do and couldn't find any. It was after their business hours and although the price was very good, I just couldn't press 'order.'

So today I called and explained my reticence in pressing the order button and the CSR said, No Problem, I'll order it for you. I said, no, I haven't finished my story.
Oh, then how can I help you.
Well, I need a discount.
Oh, OK, just a minute... how about $500.
Oh, well, if that's the best you can do, sure, thanks!

The moral of the story is..... they can't take away your birthday.

Why am I upset when they ask me for discounts on my DC 'Timeshare?'

Yes, well, sort of; Washington DC. If you've got something valuable to trade like Westin St John mid-February or even $Cash$, I have a 2BR/2BA condo right on the DC METRO in safe, secure, affluent Bethesda MD. If you need a 3BR, I have that, too.

I got you but we don't own any Westin timeshares. I would love to go to that island myself one day. It looks lovely from the pictures I have seen in the Starwood thread. I would love to go to Washington DC too one day but I need my DH to want to go too.
