Not sure of correct forum to post this in, so if it needs to be elsewhere please move it.

Upgraded computer to Windows 7 and browser to IE8. Now I have to log in everytime I come to site. Somewhere I need to change something, but don't know what we did. Before the upgrade I stayed logged in.

    Thanks,
    Nancy

      Nancy,
I had the same issues but I was using Firefox and I needed to change the security controls to accept cookies. I had the cookies clearing every time I closed the page or shut down.
Check your security/cookies settings on IE

I just saw this post now, I am moving it to the computer help forum.

Question Do you have the remember me box checked when you log in. If so Your security might be set to high. Try lowering it. IE is new as is Windows 7 so there might be updates that you should be doing.

          Remember Me

I've checked that box many times. This seems to be the only site that doesn't remember me.

I sort of remember someone else having problem, but can't find the post.

Download Mozilla Firefox--after using it a week you'll never go back to IE.
Other than that go to (IE8) tools and then internet options, Look at al the tabs for something that may be the problem.

Okay, I solved my own problem and maybe we need to put this as a sticky someplace.

If I come in as : Timeshareforums.com - I have to log in each time.

If I come in as: www.Timeshareforums.com - I don't need to log in each time.

Thanks for the help and glad this got solved.

Just noticed that after reading your post and opening IE8. Same holds true for firefox and perhaps other browsers. So it's not a windows 7 problem (I'm using xp).
