This is almost identical to what happened to me:

AVG Forums - Antivirus Live Infection

I tried to post that and found out that I am not registered on the new AVG forum . . . I was on the grisoft forum.

Nor can I get through it's registration process.

Not sure but I think you need to purchase in order to get in and register.

There is a forum for the paid version and another one for the free version. I was equally unsuccessful with both.

Boot your PC is "Safe Mode with Networking" and remove the following files:

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\<random>\
%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\<random>\<random>sysguard.exe

As you can see, the main folder is named randomly and the main process will be something like muytsysguard.exe.

Then download MalwareBytes anti-malware. Install, update and run a full system scan.

We could use some advice from you,

We are doing the site upgrade and Ken last night did find 2 virus Redirect warnings that were removed. The problem we have is we do not know where it is if it is even coming from here, Ken does not want to move forward until we know there is no virus on any pages or links.

What we need from you is.

Sorry to jump on the thread late but have been mostly away from computer for a few days.
I agree with the suggestion to use Malewarebytes Anti Maleware. In my experience it has found and got rid of things that other products do not find. It is a high-test product.
