  • How to transfer data from old to new computer?

Just bought a new Dell PC with no floppy disc. The old one (Windows 98) has only floppy disc. How do I transfer data from the old Dell to the new Dell?
    TIA

I have a thread asking the same question.

    Several answers, but nothing definite.

google it and read about direct cables, flash drives, etc.

Do you have USB ports and/or a writeable CD on your old computers?

Thanks for the link. The old computer has USB but no CD.

I had a similar problem with several programs on floppy discs. I bought a floppy drive that plugs into a usb drive for about $20 somewhere on the net. Can't remember where.
