  • Access denied on USB memory stick

Can anyone help me on this topic. From last night I can't access USB memory stick on my computer running Windows XP SP2. When I gonna plug it in, its recognized. But when I try to open it, I get an error msg "...\is not accessible, access is denied". All other USB devices (camera, modem) are working fine. I checked this USB memory stick on other computers and it works pretty fine. Can't figure out what’s the exact problem.
Please pass on your advice and ideas to fix this.

    Thanks..

Is this your company computer? Some company's computer has installed software that designed can be turned on to not to read / write USB memory card.

Make sure you are virus free and run spy blaster stuff. last time I had this happen, it was a virus.

Could also be a USB1.1 vs USB2.0 issue. Usually, it doesn't matter, but I've seen cases when a memory stick wouldn't work in a USB1.1 computer.
