But here's a workaround, if you have the same problem: go to redeem awards, then near bottom left-hand corner is Earn more rewards - browse merchants - click - all retailers tab.

I can't seem to make this work---I have yet to see "Earn more rewards" or "browse merchants"

Pat, (assuming you have a Cap One cc of course) after you created an acct/login at capitalone.com, did you choose credit cards when asked to select an acct to log into?

If yes, then click on Rewards Summary, from bar across top below logo.

Then next to your Current Rewards balance, you'll see a green box for Redeem Awards, and a blue box for Earn More Rewards.

Click on either of those and follow instructions above.

Has anyone gotten one of these with Windows 7 Starter? I have purchased several for grandchildren, but all with Windows XP. Some of the three and some of the six battery packs and the six is better for traveling. Good price.

riverdees, we have the Windows 7 Starter netbook - to tell you the truth, so far I prefer XP - time will tell.

Today, my walmart bonus miles finally posted to my Cap One acct- they gave me 4 extra per $ for the netbook, not 1. These put me over the top, and I redeemed for 2 transAtlantic tix today - almost 2k worth of free airline tickets. I'm a happy girl.

I wanted to mention about Cap One and Sears online - you can order online, and pick up at your local store almost immediately. Usually it takes about 2 hours to get the email with the scannable barcode, but you don't even have to wait for the confirmation email, as long as you give them the order # and pay with the same cc. This is great - we needed a new range asap for a rental property - called the store, found out exactly what they had in stock, prices were better than Lowes or Home Depot, so we'll get 5 bonus miles for every dollar in addition to the regular miles. Yahoo! I'm such a convert now.

Got an Acer with the accessories kit from Woot and when it came two days ago, one of the pins on the Battery was bent and prevented charging. I called the refurb house, Revonate and they emailed me a UPS Label to return the battery. They also are shipping a new one without waiting for the return. Everything else works fine.
