  • Laptop running Windows XP Problem

I can't boot up my Dell laptop, get the following message:

Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

    \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attemp to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM.
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair.

We have moved since I purchased this computer several years ago and I can not find the CDs for it.

Any suggestions? Sure have backed it up, but kept putting it off.
