Other than 3 months worth of upgrades when you turn it back on, I don't see a problem. My oldest computer was off for longer than that and when I finally restarted it, it ran as fast as when it was new (after hours of upgrades).

My concern is losing stuff, like it might think I have lost interest, & go away, feeling unwanted.

Dumpped Stuff
YAHOO informed me that after so many days, they will clear emails that haven't been acted on. I would think (from that) that even as my PC were off, emails would pile up and possibly activate "deletion action" of old emails.
I sorta figure, "Who cares."
I have before, perged the files to "activate" a recent date.
I see no positive reason to run up 3 months on your system and electric bill.Robert
