Craigslist - Does anyone else find this site so frustratingly slow? Every time I go there it takes forever to read anything and to post anything......I hate the site just because of this....yet people rave about it. And I have cable....I could not imagine working on that site with dial up.....

I don't have any problems with Craigslist. I check their job ads about twice a week on average and they load promptly.

I have never posted so no experience with that.

    I'm on DSL.

www.craigslist.org once you are there you can click on your area. People sell things or services for free. I have used it to rent many appartments free of charge. You can even sell your house there.

Could you like sell a lake house on it? Or a slip in a community dock?
              - - - - - -

At first I misread the topic, I missed the craigslist part, and thought this was about TS4Ms, which can be really slow for me, and it locks up on me, the only site that does that.

I think it locks up if I try to leave before it is done doing something . . . slowly.

I know QB has said he will look into it, give some options, when he get some time.

Ok wise guy you made your point, Ken has a lot on his mind with the resort data base. He might not see this post so I suggest writing a trouble ticket that he will see in the trouble ticket area. BTW I have no trouble at all.

As far as selling your lake house or dock. Yes you can list it there. In fact you can even list it here in our yard sale. In fact, There is a boat for sale there now.

This drives me crazy.....I can get to this web site in less than a second...but whenever I try to pull up craigslist it is just one long mind numbing slow slow slow slow drawn out ordeal.....I can't stand it.

And I cannot find the ad I posted either.....I confirmed it....it goes to the ad with the direct link...but it is not listed where it is supposed to be......gosh I hate this site.....everyone raves about it......

Why don't you try www.bidshares.com? It is free too. Some of our Laguna Surf HOA board members have been using this non-stop and seem to be happy with it otherwise they wouldn't use it over and over again. I have never used any of these web sites yet but will use TS4MS for the first time if my DH agrees to me advertising our timeshare for next year. I don't want to go again after five years on a row.

That is so strange.....I wonder if it is my cable network provider that has an issue with the site.

Did you see my ad in the listings by headline and by date or did you do a search?

                              Thanks for the feedback everyone.
