itunes erased my books

My ipad was synced with my old computer.itunes told me it could only be synced with one computer so I synced it with my new computer. All of my books are gone and I don't remember where I downloaded them from. Am I out of luck or are they someplace on itunes?

Problem solved

Found the books on iTunes but didn't know how to download them to my iPad. My iBooks app was missing so I redownloadedit and clicked on it and my books are again on mt iPad.
