  • ipad, iphone question

    DW's first ipad, iphone problem.

This morning for the frirst time it would not connect to our network (wireless router), while my LT (windows) was just fine.

I hem and hawed around with it, as did Apple support, and we finally went to "Forget this Network", one step further than we had gone on our own. Then we reset the netork to our router, and things were fine.

Is that common and is there anything we can do, or not do, to prevent it?

I was very satisfied with Apple support. I contacted them with my LT and they immediately called on the phone.

I very seldom have the problem that you were having but I know that it is a good idea not to leave your iPhone always on. You need to restart it every so often and it seems to straighten itself out. They also told me to do this with Windows too.
