    Testing a Router

    We had some serious lightning, close, last night.

    Anyway to test a router?

    I'm hardwired now, so the modem's alive.

    Press reset button on back of router.

        If you lick the antenna while its on, you'll get a slight shock. Haha, made ya do it

          I once used a D-link router to send wireless to an old desktop in an office in another part of the house. There was no wireless card, but I had a d-link wireless adapter. It worked great, but I haven't used that computer on line for over a year, so I put the router in storage.
