first lay in bed no shirt on' lay laptop on belly for a few hours until you smell smoke and the screen becomes black and white.

Next step if you insured your electrical components with Verizon Fios you are in luck to get it fixed in about 2 for$89.
So far it is only 12 hours and already I am looking at what to do. I so hope I get it back by next week.

I am using my HP Touchpad. It works great but the OS is Web OS Which some sites do not work well with it.

Wow they next day aired a box to ship my lap top to them. It is boxed and waiting to be picked up. It is going next day air so by Monday they will be working on it.

You need an iPad or something similar. I use my iPhone in bed. It is easier on the wrist and you can lay on your side. I tried an iPad but it was too heavy for me to use it longer than ten minutes in bed. Give me a smart phone instead if you lay down but I am reading mainly.

I got my lap top back today, They replaced the mother board, ac adapter, Hard drive with OS. They sent me back the old hard drive that is still working kinda but does not pass for perfect. I plan on puting back the old hard drive just so I cab back up every thing onto the new Hard drive. The way I add it up it cost them over $500 just in parts not adding in Labor or the next day air postage that was used 3 times/ once to get the boxes once to send it to them and once to get it back, not to mention them getting parts next day air. This had to cost them $900 for the reapir. I paid $1100 3 years ago so in todays market it maybe about $550

omg there is a flaw in the HP mother board. Laptop can not be fixed but they are replacing it with a monster lap top that is 3d and is a quad core i7 with dual hard drives and a you ray burner.

Just got my mew toy they had a bill in there which showed me what they paid. $1300 is a nice gift to get when your old laptop was no longer even worth half of that. Thank you Fios
