Hi, I'm not sure how this happened but my computer screen is now too large. It is too far to the top and bottom, and right. I went into support and I figured out how to change my AOL screen by clicking restore and then dragging the screen to fit. But on internet explorer and Google Chrome I can't figure out how to do this. I can't minimize or maximize and I no longer have scroll bars. I also don't have a bar on the bottom that lets me move the screen to the left to see what's on the right. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I would turn the computer off....all the way out and shut down. Wait 5 minutes and turn back on, it should reset to all your default settings.

If it's just the window sizes of the programs, then dragging the corners will resize. If you've 'lost' a lot of bars/etc in explorer and/or chrome, usually it's because you've inadvertently pressed the F11 key (F11 puts you in a 'kiosk' mode). Press it again. If EVERYTHING got big then you probably did something with your graphics settings. Changing your screen resolution (right click on an unused part of the desktop and select 'screen resolution' [or similar depending on the version of your operating system]) might be the fix you need.No one can be exactly like me. Even I have trouble doing it. - T. Bankhead

Thanks everyone. I started with dragging the corners and got the internet pages to fit in the screen again. I have a PC. I no longer see the time at the bottom right or the other icons (like volume) that were there. I tried the F11 and I see now that that brought me to full screen. Maybe that's what I did the first time, and then fooled around with it so much I'm no longer in that mode. I don't see any percentage sign that lets me choose. I did the control-minus sign and that shrinks the size of the windows but doesn't help me with the desktop things I lost.
I am going to try unplugging the monitor in addition to the computer, and maybe ask the tech guys at work if they can help me.
Thank you all for your help!Jacki
