  • Stop Running This Script message

I'm getting it on at least one forum.

What causes it and what do I do to make it go away?

    TIA

      Windows Internet Explorer

      Stop running this script?

A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly.
If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive.

Click yes. To make it go away, try using Mozilla Firefox as a browser instead.

Use google chrome. It is the most sophisticated and fast browser today. You won't see the message you are seeing in chrome.

            wow!

            options!

One other on the forum said they are getting it, too, and it just started, same as me.

The problem I described has stopped, but now I have to wait each time I do something cuz there's a few seconds delay. I also have been getting a Microsoft error message after I log on, saying something didn't work the way it is supposed to and do I want to send an error report.

I'm doing a scan which is 94% complete, with no infection.I have not been able to do System Restore unless I go to Safe Mode, something I've read others have experienced. I restored it to 7/7 and some of the delay is gone.
