I do not have the router. Description sounds good. The slow part of the connection will be the equipment connecting to the router. If the computer, smart phone, Roku, DVR, etc, etc, etc is using the 802.11n standards or even lower, the speeds will be set by that device. Going forward, new equipment that is at the 802.11ac standard will be very fast, about double (or higher) the 802.11n standard.

It looks as the 802.11ac is not fully rolled out, so devices (computers, and other wi-fi devices) will not be common for another year or so. Any new device you put into use with the 802.11ac standard will be darned fast with that router.

But for now, any device you have will likely operate at the same speed it did with your last router.
