  • Free VPN

I have been thinking about adding a VPN, virtual private network, for security for a while but every one I saw had a fee. I recently discovered one that is free. It is the VPN from ProtonMail. They do have a paid version that allows you to sign on from 54 countries, but their free version allows you to sign on from three - the US, Netherlands, and Japan. www.protonmail.com The company is based in Switzerland, so I was surprised that Switzerland was not one of the choices on the free VPN. VPN's are especially useful if you are using public WiFi hotspots from time to time.

I use Express VPN. I should try some others. I use the VPN mostly to watch USA channels and netflix while in Mexico. Last trip we were able to watch the Superbowl and netflix in Mexico.

Backing up your photos regularly is super important; consider using an external drive or cloud storage for peace of mind.

I’ve been there, trying to figure out the best gear and settings. When I was starting out, I struggled a lot with image quality and editing.

One thing that really helped me was getting a decent proxy for managing my online activities. I decided to Buy premium proxies which made a noticeable difference. It allowed me to upload and share high-res photos without any lag, and I felt a lot more secure when accessing resources online.

Experimenting with different cameras and settings was a lot easier once I sorted out the technical stuff.
