Dell Laptop Battery Recall

I was sent a site that allows you to check if your specific laptop battery is being recalled. Mine wasn't!

I just heard that another company is now also recalling there batterys. I think it was Apple if I heard correctly.

How can you tell ~~ I just checked my battery & its not even close to what its askin for ~~

I checked my Dell as well and it is off by one digit compared to the recall numbers....the site says mine is not recalled...but the little difference in model number does not inspire confidence.

Dh's office contacted Dell and his new laptop has a battery that's been recalled so they're sending him out 2 new ones. Pretty cool that he gets two batteries. He works really long hrs on that laptop too so it would have been a good candidate to get overheated.
