The topic is not implying that AOL is responsible for virus.
Since we moved to the lake in 2002, we have had AOL dial-up. I like it because I don't always have much to do and it helps consume time.
A couple months ago, AOL insisted on reducing our monthly fee from way-too-much to $9.95, so I let them. The service has been pretty much the same since, but I have noticed a few differences.
For one thing, I now get notices of undeliverable email because AOL detected an unrepairable virus. It is not for email we are sending, a virus in our computer, but they are notifying us of spammers with unrepairable virus if we were on the spammer's mailing list.
I'm amazed at how many there are, how many spammers are sending email with viruses.
