Any binocular (or camera) users - help with a tripod

Steve is asking for an "adjustable tripod with binocular mount" for Christmas. Would this be a regular camera tripod that would also have a mount for binoculars? Anything special I should be looking for. Any suggestions on makes, features, etc. TIA
