Outlook and Outlook Express. I have windows XP home edition and not professional so I have express. Is there a big difference? The only thing I use OE is for email. Does it have any other usefulness?

Most pda's use outlook to share address books. I like outlook express because that is what I started with and never looked back.Timeshareforums Shirts and Mugs on sale now! http://www.cafepress.com/ts4ms

You have outlook express because you don't have Microsoft Office. Outlook is an Office component. (It has nothing to do with XP Home vs XP Pro, Outlook Express and Outlook run on either one.)
Outlook Express is not very well regarded (and that's being nice). It has nothing in common with Outlook except for the name.
If any of you use firefox and you're using OE, consider using thunderbird instead of OE.

Originally posted by BoardGirlOutlook would be expensive overkill. It does integrate with other Office apps, but if you don't need or care about that, don't bother.
Agreed. Things may have changed, but Outlook didn't support multiple e-mail addresses in earlier versions. I have used Outlook Express for years at home and never had any problems with it. Yes, it's pretty basic in function, but that isn't generally a problem in the home environment.
