Google stores a unique identifer in a cookie form on your PC or Laptop which allows them to track your search words or keywords that you enter on the Internet ~~

G-Zapper at the above website will set a privacy settin to block this cookie in your web browser ~~ Works either with IE 6 or 7 & Mozilla Firefox ~~ I did it & it works fine ~~

There are several web sites that won't work if you disable your cookies. I was in one yesterday and decided not to go further.

Why do you think that Yahoo or Google gives us so much free stuff? It is because they can track what we are interested in and put advertising on the web page that you may look at sometimes and buy these products eventually. They may sell that information to other companies too. I don't mind looking at ads of products or services that I am interested in.

The problem is when Uncle Sam is getting involved and everything goes in one big data base but that may have happened already. Another problem is that the Government may require private companies to give their data to them but hopefully, they do this for people who do bad things like taking advantage of young children via the Internet or other crimes. If I had children, I would be delighted that they track these people down and lock them up for good. This is one way of catching them. JMHO.
