Moving applications from the desktop ?

I have two application files on my desktop from the installion of microsoft office programs and I cannot seem to move them. Any advice ?

Are you going to 2 different computers. If So, Save them to a USB flash pen drive.

Nope, just want to get them off the desktop and perhaps somewhere where they won't use up my RAM.

Are they in your programs. If so just delete the short cut thats on your desk top.

The entire application is on the desktop, using 220 mb.

When you d/l the original software you should have had an option to put on desktop or not. You might have to remove the app. and start over & choose not to have an icon appear on your desktop.

Can you be more specifc on what you d/l and what exactly is on your desktop?
