Tonight, again, I've gotten an email that locks up my email program. I can't open the email and then I get a message that says that "Earthlink Total Access Mailbox has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." Then, do I want to notify Microsoft or not? Then it just shuts down. This has happened 3 or 4 times before and eventually, when I get more emails and move this one down the line, I can start reading my emails...but not the one that started the problem. I've rebooted, but it remains. Any suggestions? TIA.

We have Earthlink also and had a lot of trouble with TotalAccess last fall - turns out the preogream kind of disconnected itself off our computer -???
you can
1. Call Earthlink for help, do you know the 800 numebr?
2. Use Webmail meanwhile
3. try again later

Frank...I periodically delete all my old emails from all sections(saved, sent and trash). The ones I want to keep, I put in 'drafts' or some other folder..otherwise..it's bye bye.
I do use my webmail when I can't access the regular mailbox, but there is an email in there that I want to read because it has to do with renewing something I want to renew and I can't even read it!! Very frustrating. I will call Earthlink tomorrow. I just can't figure out what triggers this strange change of events.
