Any insight to why I can't enlarge my font?

    Any insight to why I can't enlarge my font?

    If I try to use the sign smilie, and enlarge the font, and change the color, it doesn't work. It just comes up black, and the standard size.

    Example....[MARQUEE][SIGN]Happy Birthday!![/SIGN][/MARQUEE]

    I choose font size 5, and red ink!

    I realize that it's my computer, since no one else has this problem. Just thought that maybe someone know could help with this problem. It's annoying!

    PS.....Maybe I should have put this in 'Computer help' since I know that it's my computer, and not the site. Sorry!

    I moved it for you...sorry I can't help you. I'm still grappling with a new video card for my son's older desktop....

          It works as long as I'm not making a 'sign'.....[SIGN]HELP!!!![/SIGN]

          I choose size 5 for my 'help' sign, and red letters!

            Do you use the standard editor or the advanced editor? I will try the advanced editor next...

            There once was a Moderator that had sizing issues. To add to her frustration she had no color too.

              Don't you get a bunch of enlargement offers in your e-mail ?

              enlarging the green smiley didn't work for me either.

                Try quoting mine and see how I formated it... Note the font and color are inside the sign tags!

                  [MARQUEE][SIGN]Duh!!![/SIGN][/MARQUEE]I don't see the advanced editor....only the standard.

                  Even editing my post....using the advaced editing, it didn't work.

                      Ken....When I make a post, the font and color read the same as yours. As if the post is going to be enlarged, and the colors are going to be what I choose. But, then on the post, it's just black, and standard size.

                        Try making another sign... look at the syntax of the code I posted and copy that... You just need a little practice as what you posted so far was just posted wrong and that is why it didn't work

                          Note your Duh!!! is NOT inside the RED formating code! That is why this is not red!

                          [MARQUEE][SIGN]Duh!!![/SIGN][/MARQUEE]

                          Compare it to this:

                          [MARQUEE][SIGN]Duh!!![/SIGN][/MARQUEE]

                          then to make it larger try this:

                          [MARQUEE][SIGN] Duh!!! [/SIGN][/MARQUEE]

                            OK, Ken....I have tried 10 different ways. I must just have a mental block, on this!....That happens with me sometimes.
