New to site---what are th TS4MS "Points"?

I thought I had joined this site within the last year---
but found it necessary to join (again?) today.

I notice that as I continue to post, I have an assigned number of 'points' change in value.

This question is perhaps one that gets asked all of the time---but what are those 'points' all about?

You might have thought you joined a year ago. But I can tell you that unless you moved or are using a work computer and different email I did not get any Dup accounts alerts from you.

With The points on the site you can get points for posting, starting a new thread, donating to the site and so on. You can use your points in the Game room to play video games, Place classifieds ads, donate points to others, Buy ribbons which needs to be turned back on soon, Plus other things

Ok Maybe I did not explain it well, how about looking at the faq to see if that helps.

I'm fuzzy, too, even after reading the FAQ and the separate TSMS Points section. The FAQ seems to state that the only current use is for the lottery. Is that still accurate?

Also, what is the difference between Points and Bank points? Any difference in how they can be used? How are Bank points acquired other than as interest on the total balance?

I have more questions that might be answered somewhere that I have missed.

It is for the Lottery, Game room, Claasifed ads, Gifting ribbions which needs to be turnd back on, Gifting points for contests,

They both earn interest, You gain every day points by logging in, Posting, Clicking on threads. Those points go into your daily points total which earn interest. You then Bank your points to earn even more interest. You can with draw or depoisit at anytime


I have more questions that might be answered somewhere that I have missed.

I guess we need to redo the Faq soon.

Pts in the bank can only be used after you withdraw them. Any pts in the bank earns interest. Pts outside of the bank is like pts in your wallet. You can use them anytime you want. When you run out, you withdraw from the pts in your bank.

Yes I did the same and banked some points. BTW Both the Bank and the change get interest.

Good thing this thread came around. It reminded me to buy my lottery ticket. Guess who won 4100 points?
