  • How VERY frustrating

The new hard drive came and I went to install it today. Got out my handy dandy computer tool set and I can't get the screws on the bracket to give at all.

DOD never could figure how I could control my horses so well when I have no hand strength. ( The secret to that is you don't NEED hand strength.) So now I must wait for DS &/or DH to come home to assist.

    Unless someone has a trick?

If you have alittle WD 40 give it a small spray, most of the times it works as it lose the nut from the metal it is sticking to

Swear at it then spit on it. Or ...use some WD40. That works, too. DH has some stuff called Liquid Wrench but that would probably make the whole thing fall apart!

Tried the WD-40 and every cuss word I know. Nothing.

Pretty sure running hot water on it and hitting with a butter knife doesn't sound like a good idea either.

It would really suck lemons to have take this somewhere because I can't turn these darn screws.
