I have dial up thru Juno, 4 year old computer using Internet Explorer. Of coiurse it is slow, and sometimes when i click on a link, it will freeze up, but this new problem is a doozy.
I click on disconnect, but it does not disconnect. I picked up the phone about two hours after I got off the computer to discover I was still on line. The past several times I have had to physically pull the phone plug out of the wall. then the Juno option line is still on my computer. I do occasionally get a program not responding box which says something aobut JunoApps. I emailed Juno about downloading new software. I am hoping it is that and not a virus. I tried to download a free virus scan, it said it would take 4 to 5 minutes. about an hour later, I pulled the plug.
