  • How do I go back to edit a sentence with out it removing the other letters

What I mean is sometimes when I lets say miss a letter , I will put my curser back where I want to add the letter and when I type it the other letter gets removed

Ex if I forget the o in boy and type by and I go back to put in the 0 I will end up with bo , it just takes out the y. and if I then try to put in the y the next word will come closer to it so it would look like this boygirl. This happens with my email and in here. how do I fix this, I am using Vista.

Try hitting the "Insert" key upper right corner of your keyboard.

I have had this problem too. I think that I accidentally hit the insert key, which is next to my backspace. I believe that it then stays active (like Caps Lock) until you touch it again. Thats why sometimes it happens, and sometimes not.
