  • MS Office 2007

Has anyone had the pain inflicted upon them to use MS Office 2007. At work we are the test tube pigs selected to use this tool.

Talk about reinventing my world. Man who shut off the lights.

I have a friend that uses it and he loves it. I will ask him to post here to give some input.

I have Vista and MS Office 2007 on my laptop. The menus and toolbars have been replaced with the Ribbon, which is part of the Microsoft Office Fluent user interface. It took sometime to get familiar with the new change and the Ribbon but I must say I am starting to like it.

I did the conversion to 2007 and now love it. The hardest part for me was finding where things were. There's a great tutorial in 2007 that shows you where to find new things. At the end of it there is a document you can print that shows all of the new locations in 2007 vs 2003 or Word XP.

        Good luck!

          Then there is hope?
I positively hate it and find office 2007 very non-intuitive. I particularly despise the new version of excel.

I still have one copy of the older office version left and am seriously considering UN-installing office 2007 on my XP-pro laptop and going back to classic. Of course I am stuck with it on the Vista desktop but rarely use that as it's my son's machine.

I have Vista and Office 07 on my desktop, and XP and office 93 (I am a little behind on that one) on the laptop. I can do some good things on the desktop - once I find the stuff I am looking for.

I put open office on my laptop. Not sure on that one yet, haven't had enough time to play with it to know how well it will work for me.
