  • Anyone else not able to get Google?

Google is my start page. It always has been.

Did you go and get yourself banned from GOOGLE? Geez, Dude, don't you ever learn???

seriously, i was on the big g this morning, no problems whatsoever.

if you changed security settings recently, you may have blocked yourself from it. you can add it as a trusted site to get around that - in IE (which I think you use???), tools... internet options ... security .... trusted sites ... click add. may have to uncheck "require https" at bottom. will either load or hit refresh if it doesn't.

that could be the problem. if it is, you have to decide how much you trust google

You can also try loading a new browser instance and type it in and hit enter before it can get very far towards loading the default page. sure, looks like the same thing, but, don't know what your browser is storing for you.

While you are at internet option, make sure your home page did say google, not some other site that sneak replace your home page.

            Strange stuff.

I changed my start page to Yahoo and got a message confirming that change.

Then, next time I hit the Web button, I got google, no problem. I have been getting it with no problem since I started this thread, which is why I hadn't said anything else.

Then today I got the same failure to connect to google again.

I opened another browser and then when I hit the web button it came back here for a second and then went to google.

So, google is coming and going.

I hit the Web button again, and there google was. I close the browser and hit the Web button again and got:

This morning it can' make its mind up.

When I pushed the Web button first, google came right up, but when I just click on it where it is saved in the address line, I could not get it, and now when I click the Web button I cannot get it.

              I don't get it.

              I think I got a little bug.

                Hopefully I have it resolved.

It may have been a conflict between my Keyboard Web button (however I set that originally) and the Internet Options setting.

                We'll see.

Well, it was nice talking to me, again. Bye.

I talk to myself a lot more now than I did 5 years ago.

Same thing again today. I had google when I did my first run-through, and Now I can't get it. Can't even google Westgate Timeshare Problems for the neophyte.
