Anyone have an iPod Touch? If so, how do you like it?

I've had one for a year now, and love it. When they came out w/ the apps on the iTunes store, it added great value to the iPod Touch.

I have one and I don't use it for music. I use it for checking email wherever there's wi-fi (e.g. from my bedroom, at Panera's, at some resorts, etc.). I use it for storing photos of my vacation. I love the free podcasts I download from iTunes. And I love being able to check the internet wherever there's WiFi without having to carry around a real computer.

The only downside I see is that the original models did not really have enough storage and that there's no Adobe Flash for iPod so some web sites don't work right with an iPod touch.

I considered downloading "Free" music from Amazon but stopped when I was asked for my credit card number. Why would a credit card be needed for a "free" download?

I have 'iTouch' and I love it!

• It is great for checking email in my various accounts.
• I love the podcasts (also available on other MP3 players)
• I watch youtube videos and other videos
• ... and movies and TV shows downloaded via iTunes
• I would love to upgrade to the new generation touch with the external speakers.
• Please keep in mind, a lot of the features like email, youtube etc. are only available when you have WiFi access!

Adding to this old post... if anyone still interested... I got the ipod touch and was pretty disappointed that it didnt allow me to check my email because its msn. I guess certain email accounts dont work The wi fi is good but i found that lots of places ie mcdonalds makes you pay for it! So i mostly just use mine for the music... couldve spent 100 bucks less.

Apparently., as of Feb 12, 2009 people using iPod.tuch can read and respond to MSN mail: Please refer to iPhone and iPod touch: Windows Live, Hotmail or MSN email Accounts and A new way to get Hotmail on your phone - Windows Live

And with the new software update for iPod touch, you can download applications from the App Store. Some applications are for iPhone only and don't work with iPod touch, though. Many applications require a WiFi connection to work.
