How can you find out who sent you a Text if it comes up by #

This is important, My Cousin is getting a Divorse and a differnet cousin got a Taxt about it but we are unsure who sent it. There name did not come up only 5 numbers like EX 12345, How can we find out the name of the person sending this also How can I do this with my text to send to someone.

Alas, that site just told me my cell number is a land line in a town about 10 miles away. For $39.95, I could get a full report.

Anyway, Frank's looking for a reverse lookup on that five-digit number that is the source on texts. I don't know of any way to look that up, Frank. But I do very little texting, so there might be a way.

Could you ask the cell phone company? They may know.

I didn't explore the site, so it is not surprising to find out it is a fee based site...since I don't know a thing about texting, I was truly giving it a shot in the dark. I hope that you figured it out by now Frank.

We have not figured it out yet, I did sugest to call there Cell phone company.

Not sure how you can find who sent the text but there are several Internet services that allow you to send anonymous text messages from your computer to a cell phone for free. Anontxt.com and TxtEmNow.com are two of them.
