How do you back up your hard drive? Do you do it yourself or do you have a service that does it via the internet? I am looking at options to make it easier, but we do have three computers that I need to back up.

Since you already have 3 computers at home, have you considered adding a Home Server to your network? Not only do they provide excellent backup solutions, they also give you a central repository for files, photos, music, videos, etc. I bought a Windows Home Server last year (HP brand) and it also doubles as a Windows Media Server, which can stream audio / video to my home theater via my Xbox.
My server has two hard drives (and can be expanded). One of the data security features I love is the ability to "mirror" my files across the two hard drives. For example, I set it up to mirror the photos on the server -- that way, if one of the hard drives ever fail, the photos will still be safe.

You can get an external drive at a pretty high storage capacity for fairly cheap and use that to backup your other computers. I have mine attached to my primary desktop and then I share it across my network and backup my other computers to it also.
Also, you can now purchase relatively inexpensive NAS storage. NAS is Network Attached Storage. It is an external device that has enough smarts built in to it to allow it to attach to your network and serve data to the computers on your network. These are a bit more expensive than an external drive but I have see 500GB to 1TB on sale for a around $200.ken H.,Ballston Lake, NY
