Question About Spam Email Being Sent To Me With My Email Address On The From Line?

I have been getting Spam email's from the Canadian Pharmacy. Somehow, they are using my email address for the From address line and for the Subject line the will say "Did I get the numbers right?" This my AOL email address.

Question No 1. How can they use my email address for the From Line?

Question No 2. If I report this as Spam will AOL block all email to me with my email address as the sender?

Sometime I sent as email to myself with information I want to keep in the save files.

1) It's easy to write an email program to do that.
2) That's why they did it that way. Talk to AOL, maybe they can help with a more specific filter for your account.
