Charter Internet Speed upgrades?

We currently have Charter cable internet at 5Mbps. For an additional charge we can upgrade to 10Mbps and for a larger additional charge we can upgrade to 20Mbps. My wife wants to upgrade to at least the 10Mbps, but she thinks she would really like the 20Mpbs.

The question I have will we see our computers, even the olders one, being a lot faster?

Will our wireless router speed be an issue, too?
