I am trading mostly options, so not panicking yet.

I taught a stock class in the DW's class at school. Mostly 11th grade I think. They had $100,000 paper money to spend on stocks. I went through two sessions of how to evaluate stocks using a screener tool, what makes a good stock vs. a bad stock. They must have liked the bad stocks better. Some were buying penny stocks, or stocks without profits.

Part of the problem is that this is an international school. There are a lot of Chinese students that barely speak English and now they get introduced to the concept of trading. Deer in headlights.

There are a few more weeks of trading for them, but I think most of them will be broke by the time the term is done. Others may do okay.
