Bitcoin dip

Bitcoin was down over 12% this morning. Just over a year ago these were selling at about $1150 and today they are under $270. According to crytocoin, $270 is the bottom signal. Its worth watching, imo.

I would put my faith in gold sovereigns or krugerrands before I would bitcoin.

Its difficult to impossible to track an electronic wallet and because of this fact bitcoins often escape the 28% cgt for most users. Being that a dip is an opportunity and the bigger the dip often brings on the better gain this looks like it could pan out.

Should Greece decide to dump the euro this month or decide to leave the terms of their austerity measures it could drive bitcoin sales as people look for a safer currency. If Greece leaves the eurozone what is to stop Spain, Portugal and Italy from doing likewise ? If this happens then the ecb would probably change or stop qe, imo.

I like pm's and other tangibles over paper and crypto currency.

The bitcoin outlet bitstamp in the UK is having problems and suspended trading. They are calling it a security breach. Even so, bitcoin value has increased today and the 20 day outlook looks like about $311 and in the next 4 days it may be even higher at $320. Its at $271 today so it will be interesting to see what happens this week.
