  • Would like to give my TS away

This is a fully paid-for property in Fairfield Bay, AR. The resort is Wyndam and it's owned by RCI.

The week is 48, which sometimes falls on Thanksgiving week.

I no longer want this property (my hubby bought it against my wishes.)

I will pay all the transfer fees and associated costs for someone to take over ownership.

All you'd have to do is pay the annual maintenance fees which is currently around $565. (I'll double check the exact amount.)

Heck, I'd even be willing tpo pay someone a few hundred bucks to take it off ym hands.

Anyone need a few hundred bucks?

It does not convert to points but is eligible for an upgrade to that sytem.

It's a two bedroom unit with a foldout couch.

I'll check on the sq. footage....

I forgot to add that there are two banked weeks from 2008 and 2009 that can be had by the new owner as well.

I am familiar with Fairfield Bay.

Trying to brainstorm for you . . .

Are the weeks banked with Wyndham or RCI?

Have you tried through the resort . . . sometimes other owners are interested, especially weeks in contiguous to theirs? That's very common for prime weeks at SW FL resorts I am familiar with. (Yeah, I know Arkansas is not the same as Florida. )

On the other hand, some resorts don't really give a rip about their owners.

Have you tried Craigslist? Not sure which one would be best, maybe Little Rock.

            & eBay?

Week 48 is not that great.

It's been awhile since I referred anyone, since before the economy went in the crapper, so I don't know if they are still taking timeshare donations, but check with Andria at transfers@trejesto.com. They are located in Branson.

If they are still taking them, tell her JLB sent you.
