Hi All,
I too would like to offer my Florida TS (Polynesian Isles IV)to anyone for free.
The maint. fees are $775 per year including taxes and everything. The closing costs are about $300 (probably less if they will accept a quit claim deed for closing) and $150 for resort transfer. I will guarantee you will not pay more than $500 total to get transferred to your name. The maint. fees are paid up thru 2010(yes even 2010 paid). I tried to deed it back to Diamond, but they have just been replaced as management at the resort, so they are not accepting deed backs. Don't know if the new management company or Poly. Isles Board will accept deed backs....We just need out, and would like to transfer to someone able to use the unit.
I bought the property in 1998 and paid cash for it at that time. I also purchased title insurance and have that policy and the Warranty Deed to prove it is all clear. We have traded it for Embassy Suites in Maui and Kauai and to St. Martin. We ahve also used the resort itself and loved it. We also own 4 other weeks, so just can't use them all and need to get rid of some of the expenses.
