Vacation Village of Weston Week 31, two unit lockout

    RCI weeks.
    Mortgage paid in full
Taxes and fees for 2011 paid in full

If someone else can truly put it to good use let me know.

I believe transfer fee is $200. I left it written down at work.

It is a lockout unit so it gets me two weeks a year.

Maybe it will help that it appears that if deposited as one 2-bedroom it is worth 16 and if deposited as two 1-bedrooms (or studios), it appears to be worth 26 (13 plus 13).

I wish i knew what the point system is you are talking about? Do you mean depositing it for points vs. weeks?

RCI just rolled out a new system of trading power - they are assigning Trading Power Units (TP), which work like points. You can see all the units that are available for exchange and the TP's required to get them. So you can see that if you deposited the 2 halves of your lock out, you would get alot more trading power than if you deposited the whole 2BR. For a fee, RCI lets you combine some units so you can get an exchange that is worth more than your deposit. Or you can make 2 exchanges each worth what one side of the lock out is worth.

Isn't the point of this thread is to discuss the topic? I don't want to buy it I'm just curious if the unit got sold, and how?

This was a thread to post a freebie giveaway

The original poster has not posted since January 2011 hence my suggestion to contact via email to find out if sold.

I had seen your freebie as well. Good Luck

It is a good question and could be helpful if answered for you.
Most resorts do not take a deed back, very unfortunate .

THe timeshare is still available for free. Please contact me if interested.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier to your question but i was in the middle of discussing the timeshare with someone else and I didn't want to possibly scare them off.

As I offered before I would pay for the transfer fees adn closing. I was going to use a third party title company to facilitate the transfer. I know it could probably be cheaper to do it myself but for the comfort of both parties to know it is being handled professionally i thought i would go that route.
