Hi All,

I have 12,000 BG points that will unfortunately expire May 31, 2011 I will not get to use. Hate letting them go to waste but there is just no way for me to use them.

If you can use any of them, let me know and I will make the reseravation for you in your name. No cost at all! As much as I would like to try "renting" these out by using the listing boards it seems like more trouble than it is worth at this point in time.

You mention that u r a relatively new owner - do you know that your points that are "borrowed" or "annual" with a date after them of 5/31/11 will become "saved" points on 6/1/11 and can be used until 5/31/12 in red, white and blue season?

Please post this question on the Bluegreen Forum if this is the situation.

Hi Pat,

First off, thanks for changing the subject heading.

Yes, I was aware of saved/borrowed/annual points usage.

When purchasing this bi-annual contract the saved points were a bonus, that . The fact I bought this particular one with that in mind was my downfall. Thinking that I could either rent or use them made me purchase them in haste. In hindsight there were probably better purchases I could have made. Unfortunatley for me there were from a June 2009 allotment and ALL of them expire May 21st when I get my new allotment.

Guess my loss, is someone elses gain! Could make for a VERY cheap vacation for someone.

Either one of the Dennisport resorts would be great for the dates I gave u in the PM - 5/13-15..but I think this is high red time so your points can not be used then if they are saved.

Red/white/blue only.

Hi Christine,

Glad to help out wherever I can. I'm not using them, so see no point in them going to waste. See to many people not using points but rather than give them a way and book reservations for others they let them go to waste. Why pay maintenance fees and then not using any of the points and realize any value from them. I would like to have "Rented" them, but to difficult to determine who wants to go where and when.

I called BlueGreen and yes a 1BDRM at Soundings Seaside is available for 4750 points (yikes! )

I have also had a request for a 1BDRM Orlando Sunshine for 3150.

The request was made for a room in NH and there is another person who is interested in NH as well so this is about ALL the requests I can handle for now.

Will sort everything out tomorrow once I have checked with one other person.
