edit - the Soundings in Cape Cod will just have re-opened after a much needed renovation - this is a new Bluegreen resort - so I will be anxious to hear about this property.

Hello all,

I wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks to those of you who helped rid me of these expiring points.

An extra thanks personally Joyce, who in return for a much needed anniversary weekend with her husband graciously returned the favour by donating some of her RCI points in return allowing me to try a new local area resort.

It is still nice to know that when you give, you always get back more in return. Having learned that I had many more options than I thought with those points was a rewarding and enlightening but do not regret my decision in the slightest. I will be using the remaining points that I have to take a weekend away with by girlfriend.

As they say in life "If I had known then, what I know now, it all would have been so different".

Hi Tom,

I want to thank you for the opportunity to get away for a few days with my husband. As I shared with you the past few years have been difficult and we, who used to go ton Europe at the drop of a hat have been confined to the local area.

Greg is thrilled to be able for us to don those few nights locally.

I hope you find that the members here are giving, not only of their advice from years of timesharing, but with things that they have and can't use. We are all in this together and with the help of each other we often times turn that "sow's ear in to a silk purse."

Check your email and get back to me regarding that local resort you want to spend a few days at. I need that one question answered before I hit the confirm button!
