WHERE
Tahoe Seasons Resort Hotel at South Lake Tahoe
It's in South Lake Tahoe, literally across the street from Heaven Valley (CA side).

WHAT

• My week is "Prime" season which means weeks 1-37 (Jan through Sept), plus there's no charge to reserve any other week if it's less than 30 days away. I don't think I've ever used it except for winter time, including several trips in December.
• My TS is "Chalet" which is basically a 1 BD with an in-room jacuzzi and a fold-out bed in the front room. Most every time I've stayed there it's been with two couples.
• The 2012 MF was $792 and has already been paid. The fee has gone DOWN (by $30) in the past year.
• The resort is managed by VRI so I believe you can trade your week within their system; I've never done it.

WHY
I've only used it about 20% of the time so I want to unload it. I should probably have tried to do this before the new MF was due, now it's just someone else's gain.

HOW
All I ask is that you pay the transfer fees which I believe are a couple hundred? Sorry I don't know more specifically. If anyone's interested I'll call the resort and get the exact details.

P.S. They recently renovated all the rooms, including 40" LCD HDTVs.

If anyone is interested in this, I will cover the transfer costs, too. (I can't edit the original post anymore to change that.) Also, in case it wasn't clear, the TS is fully paid-off and I have the deed.

I would never stop listening to offers until someone has bought the timeshare from you. To many timeshare posters act like their interested and ask couple questions while looking for even better deals same as many renters do. Always keep the lines open to others until as they say "SHOW ME THE MONEY"
