No, you forgot your link that would have your original post make some sense rather then an unpleasant comment that had several members report your post as inappropriate.

            Hope this helps

If you are so good tracking years old posts, you would have notice it is not even the same week. Dont understand your beef. It is a post in the right section ( frebbies) to let know some one who may be interested.

Since my humor failed to come across, feel free to delete it.

Yes, I did fail to notice it is not the same week. I was intriqued by the 3 (only) posts of the OP, so searched to see what the others were. Both were on the previous thread offering a SB week. So, actually I never saw the two posts side-by-side.

I see I tried a smilie, but failed.

Hers's some for all the heartache I have created. Please accept them with my apology to all I have upset:

The truth is that I was trying to make a comment about the state of the industry, that it is next to impossible to get rid of a timeshare, even for free, and I thought the OP was still trying to get rid of the same week that they were trying to get rid of 17 months ago. (Same as we still have the 6 weeks we would like to get rid of.)

I hope you got rid of it and get rid of this one, too. (Just curious, did you find someone for that other week?)

I just noticed in your first ad, that you traded that 1-bedroom at Summer Bay for a 2-bedroom at HGVC in Orlando. Good Job! Can you still do that?

                  Have a sunny day, everyone.

Yes, I have exchange for hgvc four times, two at the sea world resort and two to the tuscany, all in two bdrms. I could have gone again this year to sea world but want to try for the new hgvc parc soleil, but that one it is a little harder to get for now.
Sfx even offer me a free week to mexico for my deposit. Besides hgvc I see plenty of Mayans resorts waiting to be pick year around. It is a great value using sfx gold but I just don't need the week anymore and could be a great entry level for someone. Prime season at a great resort! If not, I will keep going to HGVC at a much lower cost.

Back in the day, that is a trick of the trade that really, really, really upset II and RCI. Getting better for worse in the same area. That's why many of the Orlando resorts have Regional blocks. When we owned Orlando weeks, we could see some resorts with them, but not others that we could see with weeks from other areas.

In the 90's I complained about II's regional block on Getaways, suggesting that it was inappropriate to keep excess inventory away from members just because they happened to own Orlando. After all, excess is excess, and the idea was to get rid of it for something. That was before the thought of renting inventory to the public ever came about.

They did, in fact, allow it, but only if you also owned something elsewhere. We dropped II, so I lost track of that.

Regional Blocks is/are still in the terms and conditions of both II and RCI.

                      Have a sunny day.
