  • Free Sheraton Broadway Plantation 1 bedroom - prime summer week

Sheraton Broadway Plantation, Myrtle Beach, SC.

1 bedroom 1 bath, 845 square feet, every other year odd usage starting 2015. Deeded as Week 40, Unit 1021. Fees next due in January 2014 and are $373 for one half of the 2015 usage. Buyer to pay closing costs for company of your choice (or I can copy/prepare the new deed myself, and you just pay county fees).

Trades great in Interval with Starwood preference, and floats weeks 9-43,47 for home resort usage. Any questions, just ask!

Also......This week is worth 35 TPU's in RCI.

Thanks for the heads up Angela - I never really tracked it in RCI.

I came up with 29 TPUs for a week 40 or summer week.

Me, too. I was surprised that every week I checked in that range was 29. That is actually good news for a potential buyer if they wanted to use RCI. No matter what float week you get, it's worth the same as any other in your float range. I didn't check 4th of July though.

I thought RCI did not allow individuals to deposit their own week (same as II Angela?) so if Angela is stating 35, this could be the 'generic' assignment fpr all SBP high season 1BR deposits.

That's correct, you don't get to select the week. Every one in the season gets the same value as I understand it.

In looking at sightings in RCI it looks like it was 33 TPUs to reserve one of these units for summer 2013, and anywhere from 33 to 46 for summer 2014. Hopefully Angela will post where she got the 35 TPU figure from.

True, you cannot deposit this week yourself. Starwood needs to deposit your week in both II & RCI.

I received 35 TPU's last year for a 1 bdrm, platinum season at SBP, and just received a postcard from RCI offering the same 35 TPU's for this year's deposit.

The 29 comes up using the deposit calculator...so much for that being reliable.

Hmmm, I just tried to use the deposit calculator to see what I would get, but I receive a notice saying "Deposit Calculator Close," so I can't check to see what number I would get on line.....Maybe the postcard number is incorrect?

I just tried it, and it shows a maximum of 29. I'm pretty sure I read recently about someone depositing a Sheraton Desert Oasis and getting more than the calculator said though.

Either way, it gets a decent amount of TPUs in RCI, and can pull 2 bedroom units at most of the Sheraton/Westin resorts in II during the Starwood preference of a bulk bank.

I still can't get the deposit calculator to work, but under deposit credit for my last deposit, it does list 35 TPU's.

Now I'm curious to see if the number of TPU's has changed again, to 29?

If you deposited and got 29, I'd think you had a good argument since you got a postcard offering 35.
