WHERE
Tahoe Seasons Resort Hotel at South Lake Tahoe
It's in South Lake Tahoe, literally across the street from the Heavenly Valley ski-resort (CA side).
WHAT
My week is "Prime" season which means weeks 1-37 (Jan through Sept) plus there's no charge to reserve any other week if it's less than 30 days away. I don't think I've ever used it except for winter time, including several trips in December.
My TS is "Chalet" which is basically a 1 BD with an in-room jacuzzi and a fold-out bed in the front room. Most every time I've stayed there it's been with two couples.
The 2013 MF was $792 and has already been paid. The fee has gone DOWN (by $30) in the past year.
The resort is managed by VRI so I believe you can trade your week within their system; I've never done it.
WHY
I've only used it about 20% of the time so I want to unload it. I should probably have tried to do this before the new MF was due, now it's just someone else's gain.
HOW
All I ask is that you pay the transfer fees which I believe are a couple hundred? Sorry I don't know more specifically. If anyone's interested I'll call the resort and get the exact details.
P.S. They recently renovated all the rooms, including 40" LCD HDTVs.
